Always looking for new unique places with great food. Luisa's was outstanding! Had the spicy chicken piadina, and the bone broth ham soup. Both excellent. The pita oozed freshness and had the right balance of protein, veggies and sauce. We will be back.

I met the owner at a neighborhood event and decided to try what everyone was raving about—and wow, I completely understood the hype! It was absolutely the best. I tried to take pictures, but the food smelled so good that I had already eaten most of it before I remembered, and the pictures just didn’t do it justice. You *have* to try this place! It’s a cozy, comfortable hidden gem right next to the Rust Belt Market. I can’t wait to go back—hopefully, next time, I’ll manage to snap some pics before diving in. Lol!

Luis‘s restaurant is in an easy to get to place in downtown Ferndale at Woodward and nine Mile, so after a walk-through the rest it was easy to decide to come here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had heard about this restaurant from some local friends and then a short presentation from the business owner Luisa at 1 million cups and decided to give it a try. I ordered the dill pickle soup, which was hot and delicious and very tangy... Delicious! I wanted the super salad, But they were missing some of the main ingredients so Luisa offered to make me a custom salad with the same dressing and charged a few dollars less. Great customer service! And the salad was absolutely fantastic. Dijon mustard face dressing complemented the doll potato soup perfectly. my partner got the chicken and potato calzone, which was extremely comforting the creamy mushroom sauce, the cheddar gruyere, Mushroom medley and chicken and potatoes. Their mushroom melody is made up of Cremini, white button, portobello, and oyster mushrooms... The perfect land! The calzone dough was crispy and soft, and then warmed on a griddle. Ended up sharing it. It was so big. It was a delicious lunch overall. We ate in the small but cute restaurant space, and Luisa came and visited with us for a few minutes and offered a shortbread and caramel sauce cookie before we left. Highly recommend eating here. The prices are great, atmosphere is chill and the jazzy music complimented our meal. We hear there is a robust carry out business & they’re open every day except Monday. Check their website for updated hours 22851 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale They also do catering and set you up for prep weekly meal plans for busy folks who are doing that!

Yall!!!! If i could give 10 stars I would! Do not sleep on this place! Luisa is killing it!! Pitas homemade, sauces house made, meats marinated, hams shaved fresh! These photos do not do it justice :) happy eating!

Went in to order the Mediterranean Chicken. Luisa prepared it fresh for me and it took about 15 min. While i waited, she gave me complimentary cookies, a plate of lentils and grape leaves stuffed with rice. I really appreciated her hospitality. My order was so good. Will definitely be back!

We recently stopped in to Luisa's to meet a friend and were incredibly impressed with the atmosphere and hospitality that greater us. The staff made some amazing recommendations for our drinks and food and we didn't have to wait long before having some absolutely delicious lunches. Will absolutely be stopping back in anytime we're in Ferndale!

We stopped in on a whim today for lunch. Wow, so good. I had the loaded steak cascione and my husband got the sausage cascione- both were fantastic! The flatbread was the perfect thickness, and it was served so hot! We sat outside on their cute patio and the service was great, the owner check on us and was so pleasant! We also got to try the house made lemonade that has chia seeds in it! It was unmatched... Don’t skip that, perfect for a hot day! We ate our meal so fast, I wish I took a picture to accompany this review. Enjoy!

The food was delicious, and the staff was nice and helpful. The songs were fun and the place was cute! Unless it's summer, probably not suited to groups more than 4 or 5. I had the chicken maffe and corn dumplings. They were so good! My friend had the grilled cheese and it was also very good. The chicken was juicy and the dumplings were flavorful. I have leftovers to take home & it was a great price. I will be back!
